Application for the Old Age Security Pension and the Guaranteed Income Supplement - ISP3550
Purpose
For persons aged 65 or older who wish to apply for their Old Age Security Pension and the Guaranteed Income Supplement. The Old Age Security pension is a benefit payable to most Canadians aged 65 and over who meet the Canadian residence requirements. The Guaranteed Income Supplement is a non-taxable amount added to the Old Age Security Pension for single or married persons or persons living in a common-law relationship, living in Canada with low income.
